Will the RoboCore Experience be inside CPBSB7?
Yes, RCX is located in the open area of Campus Party and has free entry for visitors, meaning you don't need a ticket to watch the battles. For more information, visit the Campus Party Brasil website.
What day do I need to arrive?
For teams with combat robots, arrival on June 19th at 9 am is mandatory for check-in and safety inspection. For teams with robots in other categories, we recommend arriving on June 19th as well to check-in calmly and not miss the start time of the competitions on June 19th at 11 am.
Do I need to be a college student to compete in RCX?
No, anyone can compete. Just create a team and build a robot according to the rules of each category.
Will there be more than one batch of registrations for RCX?

Is food included in the RCX registration fee?
No, all additional costs are the responsibility of each competitor.
Are minors allowed to register?
Yes, but they must present a physical authorization form from a legal guardian at RCX check-in (click here to download).

Competitors under 16 years old: The authorization must be notarized.

Competitors aged 17-18: Only a guardian's signature is required.
If the competitor also participates in the closed Campus Party area or stays at the camping site, they must follow the guidelines on the Campus Party website.
Will RCX have an exclusive category for minors?
No, only the categories listed at the beginning of the page, which everyone can participate in.
What do I need to know to compete in the ARTBOT category?
To participate in the ArtBot category, the project must be pre-approved by the organization. After registering for the event, the team must send project details (such as a video, photos, and measurements of the ArtBot) to events@robocore.net.

Will all category competitions happen simultaneously?
Yes. The exact brackets and schedules will be determined after the safety inspection on July 10th, as robots that do not attend or fail the inspection will be removed from the competition. As usual, all complete information will be published on the platform: https://events.robocore.net/rcx-cpbsb7/
We highly recommend that each radio-controlled robot has its own controller and driver.
Will there be competitions in all categories every day?
Yes, on June 20th, 21st, and 22nd, except for June 19th, which is reserved for Combat Robot inspections and competitor check-ins.
Will the team pit area be open 24 hours?
No, the pit area will only be open during Campus Party hours: June 20th to 22nd, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Can my team leave equipment in the pits overnight?
RCX and Campus Party are not responsible for any competitor’s equipment. We strongly recommend taking your equipment with you at the end of each day.
The on-site security team is there to protect the structures and equipment of the BRB Mané Garrincha Arena, not individual competitor equipment.
Are there any dress code requirements for the pit area?
Yes, the following dress code rules apply in the pit area:
✅ Required: Long pants and closed-toe shoes.
❌ Prohibited: Shorts, skirts, flip-flops, sandals, and high heels.
❌ No exposed midriffs: T-shirts must fully cover the torso.
❌ Loose hair is not allowed: Hair must be tied back, regardless of gender.
❌ No personal accessories for safety reasons.
✅ Safety glasses are mandatory when operating rotary tools, drills, abrasive tools, or performing electronic soldering.
What are the voltage requirements for the power outlets at the event?
his year, all outlets available at the workbenches will be 220V. If your team requires 110V equipment, you must bring your own voltage transformers.
Can I use a grinder and perform electronic soldering at the event?
Yes, two specific rooms will be available for grinding and soldering to ensure a safe environment for these activities.
Where can my team stay during the event?
Camping: All registered RCX 2025 competitors will receive a R$150.00 voucher* to use as a discount on the purchase of tickets for access to the closed area and camping at CPBSB7! (*discount voucher valid ONLY for full-price tickets)
After registration, you'll receive an email with a coupon code to apply during ticket purchase. Don’t miss the chance to grab your Campus Party ticket at a great price!

Hotel: Unfortunately, we weren’t able to secure a partnership this year, but there are several hotels near the Mané Garrincha Arena, as well as hostels and even Airbnb options in the area.
